Rising tuition costs across the country threaten to put higher education out of reach for many Americans. Eighty percent of students who attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) rely on financial aid. Funds raised from the DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance 5K Run/2K Walk will benefit high school students in the Washington, DC metro area who choose to attend these legendary schools. We encourage all citizens in the Washington, DC community to come out and support the 5K Run/2K Walk
