YP4 is looking to hire an Advocacy Associate (www.idealist.org/view/job/k8sd2jn94sXd/) and an Advanced Leadership Program Coordinator (www.idealist.org/view/job/JdHWwf3wFBJd/) to support our work to support our three overarching priorities: 1) to diversity leadership in the progressive movement; 2) to support young leaders to effect change in their communities now; and 3) to ensure that young leaders are sustained in their leadership over the long term.
We are looking for solution-oriented team members with a deep commitment to intersectional organizing, systemic change, and anti-oppression analysis. These people should have values that are deeply rooted in social justice and racial justice work and should have experience in political, issue, or community organizing.
Responsibilities include high-level administration, such as coordinating the recruitment and selection, event management, supporting partner management, and assisting with communications strategy, and coordinating non-partisan vote and issue campaigns with a wide-array of youth communities.
