Client Liaison
> Entry level human services position working with Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland. Assist homebound elderly and disabled adults access the services they need to continue living independently in the community with dignity. Conduct intakes, assess needs and connect clients to critical resources, work with staff and volunteers to ensure homebound clients receive the meals and additional services they need.

> This extremely varied position will include heavy phone work with clients, extensive electronic and paper documentation, increasing knowledge of community resources to assist clients, plus occasional work at distribution sites and visits to clients.

The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and extremely strong interpersonal skills, be highly organized and computer literate, own a reliable vehicle, and have a valid Maryland license with no more than 2 points. He/she will also be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening, and be able to lift 40 pounds. Fluency in the English language required. Fluency in additional languages a plus.
