Barnes & Noble College gives North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University an enhanced look and feel for the future. The university’s bookstore operations will now be handled by the well-known bookstore industry giant. This includes the stores virtual presence as well as all in-store services. Barnes & Noble College is a leading operator of higher education bookstores in the United States and currently operates over 700 campus bookstores and serves 4.5 million students and more than 250,000 faculty members at campuses nationwide. North Carolina A&T State University joins three other UNC-System schools as it turns over its textbook and apparel hub to Barnes & Noble College. Barnes & Noble College provides its students with a large textbook inventory. Moreover, students and faculty will be able to save time and money with one of the largest inventories of course material, a variety of cost-saving textbook options and a seamless textbook rental program right on campus. “Barnes & Noble College has extensive experience in providing higher education bookstore services,” said Robert Pompey, Jr. vice chancellor of business and finance. The Barnes & Noble Bookstore at N.C. A&T opened Monday, July 22.
